The Burlington Eagles' Under 13 AA hockey team finished a packed weekend with a 3-0 shutout of Nickel City on Sunday, Nov. 8, at Iceland. It was a tournament game, and the team's fifth win in a row.

Under 13 is the age group for players younger than 13, and AA is one of the competitive "rep" levels in Ontario minor hockey, where players try out for a travelling team, a step below the top AAA tier.

All five wins came in three days, starting Friday, Nov. 6. The Eagles opened with two lopsided wins, then got tighter as the weekend wore on: no opponent scored more than once, and both games against Nickel City teams were shutouts. The games against the Cubs and the Wings were tournament games at Iceland in Mississauga, and Sunday's was also a tournament game at Iceland.
