Burlington parents getting kids ready for trick-or-treating on Saturday can get some advice from the local police first. Halton police, the force that serves Burlington and the rest of Halton Region, have posted a video on X in which Constable Ryan Anderson goes through his top five safety tips for parents to keep in mind before the candy bags start filling up.
"Don't let safety disappear under a costume," the force tells families, adding that it wants Halloween to be safe and enjoyable for everyone.
The video is on the Halton police account on X.
