Burlington Soccer Club announced this week on Instagram that goalkeeper Hayden Aasla is a nominee for the Bob “The Cat” Kirk Goalkeeper Award. Aasla plays for the Bayhawks, the name all the club's competitive teams have played under since 2012. Two days earlier, the club announced the same nomination for another Bayhawks keeper, Kaylie Rai.

The two come from different parts of the club: Aasla plays at its Competitive level, while Rai is an OPDL player. The club says Aasla consistently shows composure, reliability and a team-first mentality, and calls him a great representative of the Bayhawks.
