Eleven M.M. Robinson High School cross country runners have qualified for OFSAA, Ontario's high school championship, and are heading to Sudbury, the school's athletics account says.

The runners earned their places at the GHAC cross country championship, the regional high school meet that serves as a step toward OFSAA, held at Bronte Creek in Burlington on Wednesday, Oct. 28. "Huge congratulations to our Cross Country team on an incredible performance at GHAC!" M.M. Robinson Rams Athletics, an account the school endorses, wrote on Instagram.

Among the Rams' finishers, Austin Brudjnak placed sixth in the novice boys 4-kilometre race in 16:04.4, and Jamieson Fennell was 19th in 17:30.7.

The OFSAA cross country championship, which brings together the top high school runners from across the province, is Monday, Nov. 9, at Kivi Park, 4472 Long Lake Rd. in Sudbury.
