Trustees vote on a school board's budget and policies, from school boundaries to programs, and are the local voice families turn to on school concerns. Only voters registered as Catholic school supporters cast ballots in these races. Carvalho is one of three Catholic trustees Burlington elects; the others represent Wards 1 and 2 and Wards 4 and 5.
Results for every Burlington race, including the other two Catholic trustee seats, are on the City's election results site.
