The senior boys football team at Burlington's Corpus Christi Catholic Secondary School, the Longhorns, will host the Bishop Reding Royals in a playoff semifinal on Friday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m. at the school, 5150 Upper Middle Road, the team says.

It's a rematch of a close game. The Longhorns won 22-20 when they visited Bishop Reding on Friday, Oct. 23, the only time the two teams met in the regular season.

Corpus Christi finished the regular season 6-1. Its one loss came in the finale on Oct. 30, 14-13 to St. Francis Xavier.

After the loss, the team posted that the regular season was behind it and that everyone starts 0–0 in the playoffs.
