Support House will hold an open house Friday, Nov. 27, at its first Community Health Centre building, at Brant Street and Ghent Avenue. Rotary Burlington Lakeshore shared the news on Instagram after Thawany Monteiro and Dr. Tujuanna Austin of Support House spoke to the club this week.

Support House connects health, housing and social supports for people across Halton. Community Health Centres are incorporated non-profits, each run by a volunteer board of directors.

The agency's free Find Your Family Doctor program helps Halton residents without a family doctor connect with one, or with another primary care provider. It helps with the search rather than promising a placement, and you don't need a health card to use it.
