The Georgetown Bread Basket is thanking realtor Mark Douglas for a donation, calling him a long-time supporter of the food bank.
In a post, the food bank said the gift helps put food on the table for local families.

The thanks came days after the U15AA Thunder, a youth hockey team, made its own donation. Earlier this fall, neighbours also gathered non-perishable food for the Bread Basket and Acton Food Share in the Town of Halton Hills' Hey Neighbour block party contest.
The food bank, at 49B Mountainview Road North in Georgetown, is one of the agency partners of Burlington-based Food for Life.
It was also a community partner in Coldest Night of the Year, a winter walk held with Links2Care that raised $67,360 this year. The next walk is Feb. 27, 2027.
