Theo Vlahavas, who has coached Oakville players to league and provincial championships, will be back next summer as head coach of the Oakville Titans' U14 Bantam Varsity team, the youth tackle football club announced.

Over the past few seasons, Vlahavas ran the club's U12AAA team, which won an OFFL Championship and a Provincial Championship under him. The OFFL is the Ontario Fall Football League, for players from U10 to U18+. Away from the Titans, he coaches the defensive line for the St. Jean de Brébeuf Junior Braves in Hamilton.

Adam Sembay joins the U14-AAA staff as assistant head coach and defensive line coach. He has 15 years of experience coaching youth tackle football and is starting his second season with the Titans.

On the older side, Nick Firlit returns as offensive run game coordinator for the U18+ Senior Varsity Air Force. Firlit spent five years with the McMaster Marauders, helping win a Yates Cup, Ontario's university football championship, and playing in the Vanier Cup, the national final. Next season will be his fourth with the Titans and his second as offensive coordinator, after two years coaching the offensive line.

David Maxwell is also back, as defensive line coach and strength and conditioning coach for the U18+ Senior Varsity Trench Dawgs. Maxwell played high school football at Assumption and went on to play at Mount Allison University.

The club is adding off-season training too. It will host Trench University, a program for linemen led by Owen Hubert, a defensive lineman with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and offensive line coach Payton McWilliams. Separately, the Titans are teaming up with B-Elite Sports Development & Training on 17 weeks of position-specific training, with sessions for U14 to U18 players running 3:00 to 4:30 p.m.
