Drivers heading toward Toronto on the QEW through Oakville hit lane closures at Bronte Road repeatedly this week. Lokul's incident log, compiled from police, fire and 511 Ontario reports, records a collision there on Tuesday, Nov. 3, another on Thursday, Nov. 5, and a third on Friday, Nov. 6.
Tuesday's crash, early in the afternoon, and Friday's, late in the afternoon, each closed the left lane. Thursday's late-morning crash was in the HOV lane, the lane reserved for vehicles carrying more than one person, and closed it. Less than an hour after Friday's left-lane crash, a disabled vehicle closed the same Toronto-bound HOV lane.
