Aldershot High School's senior girls field hockey team won the Tier 2 final, shutting out Craig Kielburger High School 1-0 on Friday, Oct. 23.

A single goal decided the playoff final at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex on Neyagawa Boulevard, according to results posted by the Halton Secondary School Athletic Association.

Burlington's other finalist didn't get the same ending. At the same complex, Nelson High School's junior girls lost 2-0 to Garth Webb S.S. in the junior girls field hockey playoff final.
