Riders on Route 25 now get a bus every 15 minutes in the middle of the day, part of a schedule change across Burlington Transit, the city's bus service, that took effect Sunday, Nov. 1.

Burlington Transit said in a post on X that it adjusted the schedule of every route to better meet connections and make them more reliable. Well-timed connections matter most to riders who switch buses partway through a trip, where a missed transfer can mean a long wait at the stop.

Trip times changed on Routes 1, 2, 3, 6, 10, 11, 12, 48, 80 and 81. Riders who usually catch one of those buses at the same stop and the same time each day may find it now comes earlier or later than they are used to.

Anyone riding those routes this week should look up the new times before heading out rather than relying on an old printed schedule or memory.
