Nelson High School's senior girls field hockey team came within one goal of a Halton title, losing 1-0 to Abbey Park H.S. in the Tier 1 playoff final on Thursday, Oct. 22.
The final was played at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex on Neyagawa Boulevard, according to results posted by the Halton Secondary School Athletic Association, which runs high school sports in the region.
