Drivers who use Tenth Line between 20 Side Road and 22 Side Road will need another way around this week. The Town of Halton Hills expects to close that stretch for reconstruction starting Wednesday, Nov. 4, and finish the work by Friday, Nov. 6.
The detour runs along 20 Side Road and Prince Street to Main Street, according to the Town's Oct. 23 notice. Forest Contractors Ltd. is doing the work. Crews will use traffic control to let local traffic through, but the Town says delays are expected.
The Town issued an earlier closure notice for the same stretch, dated Sept. 21, which gave expected dates of Sept. 29 to Oct. 3.
Questions about the Tenth Line work go to Teri Hoey, the Town's supervisor of construction, at 905-873-2600 ext. 2309. Updates on road projects across town are posted at haltonhills.ca/roads.
