Burlington Community Robotics is bringing back its STEM & Spaghetti Pasta Dinner Fundraiser for a second year on Saturday, Nov. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets are sold at http://bit.ly/BCRdinner or through the link in the group's social media bio. Raffle prizes are also planned.

The group runs BCR Blackout, team 2200 in the FIRST Robotics Competition, an international contest where high-school teams build and program robots to take on other teams' machines. It said on Facebook the money will go to its student robotics programs for the 2027 season.

That season is set to open at Humber Polytechnic in Etobicoke March 19-21, then McMaster in Hamilton April 2-4, both dates still to be confirmed. The team's calendar also lists the World Championships in Houston, April 28 to May 2, for teams that qualify.

Families can still sign students up: the group's website says registration is open for 2027, and a pre-season kickoff and information night for students and parents is Tuesday, Nov. 17.
