Forty works by members of the Burlington Fine Arts Association, chosen for its annual show The Artist's Mark 2026, go on display at Burlington Central Library on Sunday, Nov. 1, and stay through Nov. 30, the association says.

There are still a few days to catch the collection at the Community Hub in Burlington Centre, where it opened Oct. 18 and closes Nov. 1. Anyone who can't get there in person can browse it on the association's website until Monday, Dec. 7.

In a juried show, outside judges choose which entries make the cut. This year's were two Hamilton-area artists: Marla Panko, a multidisciplinary artist whose geometric abstraction explores impermanence, memory, time and shared culture, and Clarence Porter, a Master Pastel Artist of Canada.

The association started the exhibition in 2019 and says this is its eighth straight year. It is paid for through the City of Burlington's Arts and Culture Grant and local community sponsors.

Families who want to make art, not just look at it, can head to the Hub at Burlington Centre, not the library, for hands-on sessions for families and youth on Saturday, Nov. 14, and Sunday, Nov. 15, from noon to 4 p.m.
