Trick-or-treating is back at Mapleview Centre, the shopping mall at Fairview Street and Maple Avenue, tonight, Thursday, Oct. 29, two days before Halloween. Candy goes out at participating stores starting at 6 p.m., while quantities last, the mall says on its website.
Families who arrive early can stop at the photo booths, which run from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Food Court and in the North Wing by Sporting Life. Costumes are encouraged.
Mapleview is at 900 Maple Ave. and stays open until 9 p.m. tonight.
Halloween itself, Saturday, Oct. 31, brings more options in Burlington, including a Spooktacular throughout Burlington Centre:
| Event | Where | When |
|---|---|---|
| Tricks for Treats | Joseph Brant Museum | 10 a.m. |
| Trunk or Treat supporting Capillary Wave | Woodview Plaza | 11 a.m. |
| Halloween Spooktacular | Burlington Centre, 777 Guelph Line | — |
Shoppers heading to Mapleview on Halloween should note its shorter Saturday hours: the mall is open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
