Burlington residents thinking about planting a tree have a new resource to check out. BurlingtonGreen announced its new Tree Planting Guide on Instagram, and says the guide comes in five languages so more members of the community can use it.

Trees are already part of the group's work. Its Nature-Friendly Burlington program, which it says connects more of the community to local green space and volunteer care of it, invites residents to plant trees, pull invasive plants and join city-wide litter clean-ups.

At its headquarters at Burlington Beach, BurlingtonGreen keeps a pollinator garden and has planted native plants, shrubs and trees along what it calls Halton's only dune environment. It also sells seed packets and native plant kits at its annual spring plant sale.

BurlingtonGreen says the guide can be found through the link in its Instagram bio.
