Burlington Festival of Lights organizers are planning a holiday night out on Thursday, Dec. 3. For $25, guests start at Burlington Lions Club Hall, 471 Pearl St., and then visit select downtown shops that organizers say will stay open late for the event.

Doors open at 5:45 p.m. From 6 to 6:40 p.m., SOBR Market, a Burlington business that specializes in non-alcoholic drinks, runs a mixology demonstration. Guests then pick up a souvenir cocktail cup and head to participating boutiques, which plan to offer nibbles or sips while people browse until 9 p.m.

The festival's listing also shows a 7 p.m. time on Dec. 3, so check the time when buying tickets.

Organizers pitch it as a private event and a break from the holiday rush, inviting guests to "grab your girls." The hall has parking on site.

The evening is part of the waterfront light festival, which runs Nov. 27 to Jan. 3 at Spencer Smith Park. The Burlington Lions Club, a volunteer service group, began presenting it in 2025 and expanded it beyond the park with new light installations and family events.

Three days later, on Sunday, Dec. 6, the Lions Club Hall hosts a parade-day event from noon to 3 p.m.
