Whitehorse, the musical duo of Melissa McClelland and Luke Doucet, brings its fourth annual Winter Classic to the Burlington Performing Arts Centre on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2026. The holiday show doubles as a fundraiser for Ladybird Animal Sanctuary, the animal rescue McClelland co-founded.
Ladybird is a Hamilton-based charity that saves cats, dogs and small animals from high-volume shelters across Southern Ontario. BPAC says the group has rescued almost 2,000 animals since it began in 2010.
To help the rescue, concertgoers can bid in a silent auction and donate on-site. On stage, the pair will be joined by their band and musical guests for songs from their holiday album, festive favourites and highlights from across their catalogue.
The concert runs from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Main Theatre at 440 Locust Street. Listed ticket prices are $59.50 to $79.50, or $54.50 to $74.50 for BPAC members. The box office can be reached at 905-681-6000.
