Nelson High School has won 10 of its 13 reported games since Sept. 1, the most wins of any Burlington high school with results reported so far. Those games were spread across six of the school's junior and senior teams, including its boys football and girls basketball teams.
Football produced the latest reported wins on Thursday, Nov. 5. The senior boys beat Georgetown 45-0, and the junior boys beat Iroquois Ridge 43-0.
The senior girls basketball team has had a mixed run. It beat Frank Hayden 50-30 at home on Wednesday, Oct. 28, then lost 76-26 to King's Christian Collegiate on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Corpus Christi, Assumption and Notre Dame each have more losses than wins in the reported results.
