Burlington residents have until Saturday, Nov. 14, to order a holiday poinsettia from the Rotary Club of Burlington Central's annual sale. The club says every plant supports causes close to home and around the world, from local food banks and hospice care to Rotary projects abroad.

The plants come in three pot sizes, from a 6.5-inch pot to a 10-inch pot, plus a limited number of tricolour poinsettias in 8-inch pots. Delivery to Burlington, Oakville and Hamilton is included, and no tax is added.

Poinsettia prices by pot size
  • 10-inch$37
  • 8-inch$27
  • 8-inch tricolour (limited)$27
  • 6.5-inch$15

The club's signature event, the 26th annual Lakeside A La Carte, raised $20,000 in 2025 for Food for Life, a local food charity that was that event's lead charity for a second year. "Everyone connected to our event is proud to support Food for Life's essential services," Susan Jasper, then the club's president, said at the time.

The club meets Thursdays at 7:15 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Burlington, with a Zoom option for members who can't attend in person.
