Georgetown Little Theatre opens its new season Friday, Nov. 6, with Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors, a send-up of the famous vampire story, at the John Elliott Theatre in Georgetown.

Cerys Costain plays the count, and Kiara Pacheco directs. The script is by Gordon Greenberg and Steven Rosen.

The comedy finds Dracula in the middle of a mid-afterlife crisis. He sets his sights on Lucy Westfeldt and runs straight into her eccentric family and her doting fiancée.

In the company's mini-documentary series, Costain talks about playing a character they both revere and feel kinship with.

The run has seven performances from Nov. 6 to 15, including a Thursday show on Nov. 12. Evening shows start at 7:30 p.m., and the two Sunday shows are 2 p.m. matinees.
