Halton Student Transportation Services, which arranges school buses for Halton's school boards, posted notices of late runs serving Brookville Public School in Milton, effective Tuesday, Nov. 3, and again effective Wednesday, Nov. 4. One run was listed as 30 to 45 minutes behind, and a Wednesday run as 20 to 30 minutes behind.
A late bus doesn't mean school is closed, the transportation service reminds families.
Another bus, serving Acton Elementary and Acton District High School, was held up by road construction in Brookville, its notice said.
Halton Region, which looks after the region's major roads, is resurfacing Guelph Line in Milton, with daytime restrictions scheduled from Oct. 19 until Nov. 20.
