Jorjanna Maggio, who has played for Team Ontario in both tackle and flag football, will coach receivers for the Oakville Titans' new U19 women's varsity team this summer, the club says.

She is one of three coaches the Oakville youth football club has announced for the team, which it calls its inaugural U19 women's program, for players under 19. Tyler Fields returns to run special teams and the running backs, and former Titan Cavan Venkatesh will coach linebackers.

Maggio's title is wide receivers coach. She played for Team Ontario's tackle team in 2023 and its flag team in 2024, and played women's tackle football with the Peel Panthers in 2024 and 2025.

She will also coach at the provincial level. Football Ontario, the sport's governing body in the province, lists her as receivers coach for its 2027 Team Ontario U16 women's tackle program, identifying her with the Titans. That team will play in an inter-provincial competition in summer 2027.

Fields will be Special Teams Coordinator and Running Backs Coach. He has eight years of experience coaching competitive youth football and most recently coached running backs for the Titans' U14 AAA program. On the U19 staff he will work alongside Coaches Doug and Tristan, as the club refers to them.

Venkatesh, who joins as linebackers coach and Tackle Specialist, brings six years of competitive football experience. He now plays rugby at York University as a back-row player.
