The Oakville Titans' senior varsity football team, the club's U18+ squad, starts indoor training Saturday, Nov. 21, 2026, at the Sherwood Sports Dome in Burlington, the club says. It's the first step toward the 2027 season, not the start of games.

The team meets on four Saturday nights at the dome at 5270 Fairview St., through Dec. 19, with a week off between the Nov. 28 and Dec. 12 sessions.

Riley Thompson, whom the Titans welcomed this summer as offensive line coach for the U18+ team, coaches the linemen who block for the team's quarterback and ball carriers. He knows the position: a former Corpus Christi Longhorn, he went on to play university football as an offensive lineman with the University of Guelph Gryphons. He has also coached with the Burlington Stampeders and with the Titans before.

Takudzwa "TK" Andrea returned this summer as the senior varsity team's running backs coach. In the club's announcement of his return, he credited the man running the program: "Absolutely FIRED UP to be back in Black with an incredible organization and a great leader in Coach Pete!"

Ben Hussul is coming back to coach the youth club he once played for, alongside his brother, Sean Hussul, for the 2027 season. Ben Hussul played for the Hamilton Hurricane in the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) and is studying at Mohawk. The senior varsity team plays in the Ontario Summer Football League (OSFL).
