Burlington author Natalia Paruzel-Gibson will read her new children's book, "Nina and the Missing Night," at Joseph Brant Museum on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Themed crafts follow the reading.

Pownal Street Press publishes the book on Tuesday, Nov. 3, and the U.S. book-review magazine Kirkus Reviews has already given it a starred review, calling it a gentle reminder of the importance of the dark. The author will have copies to buy and sign. Her earlier book, A Picture Day to Remember, has been translated into multiple languages.

The storytime is included in regular admission to the museum at 1240 North Shore Blvd E: $10.00 for adults, $6.00 for children aged 3 to 12, free for children under 3, or $30.00 for a family of two adults and up to four children.

Capacity is limited and pre-registration is required, through the link in the Museums of Burlington Instagram bio.
