Burlington families looking for Halloween-day plans can take the kids to Tricks for Treats at Joseph Brant Museum on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026, for games, crafts and a spooky photo, all for the price of regular admission.

Museums of Burlington lists the Hallowe'en family event as running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the museum, 1240 North Shore Blvd. E.

Kids can try tricky games for treats as they explore the exhibits, follow a scavenger hunt through the museum and stop at a craft station.

Henry's Camera will be on site taking pictures at the museum's Spooky Snapshot Station. Families will get one digital image by email and a voucher for a free instant 8×10 print at an in-store kiosk.

Admission is $30 for a family of two adults and up to four children, $10 per adult, $8 per senior or student and $6 per child. The museum recommends registering ahead; walk-in visitors will get in as space permits.

Families can also check out Money in 10 Questions: Kids Edition, a play-based travelling exhibition about money that is on view until Jan. 23, 2027, at the redeveloped museum, which opened on Sept. 15, 2019.

The museum's next family event is a storytime, craft and book signing on Nov. 7 for "Nina and the Missing Night," a new children's book by Burlington author Natalia Paruzel-Gibson.
