Orchard Park Public School's Holiday Market will double as a food drive next month. Shoppers are asked to bring non-perishable food for the Burlington Food Bank, which says food bank use in the city is at a record high.

The market runs from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2026, at the school, 5151 Dryden Ave. Visitors can shop from more than 20 local vendors, bid in a silent auction and pose at a festive photobooth.

The food donations will be collected on behalf of the Burlington Food Bank, which is inviting neighbours to drop off non-perishable items at the market.

The need is large. The food bank says it supports 5,660 people in Burlington at its food bank location alone, and hundreds more at partnering Mini Markets.

Residents who can't make it to Orchard Park that evening can donate to the food bank online instead, according to the food bank's event page.
